Thanks to Jade and Blind, I’m on Wild Arms Project

WildArms

I’ve been contacted by people in the past for OCR remix projects, but between my job (at the time) and other projects I was involved with I never could really say with certainty “sure, I’ll join your project!!”  But when Jade [Lee Aguirre] contacted me about a Wild Arms project my first reaction was “Wild Arms? I haven’t heard about that game for over a decade!” My second reaction was “man I’m not ready to really do anything new for a big project.” My third -  and luckily final – reaction was “why the hell not?”

So that being said, I checked through the extensive soundtrack and found two songs which I thought I could have fun with and hopefully make interesting remixes of for the project. It’s strange that my first project submissions will be for a game I barely remember the music for, but I suppose you have to start somewhere. I can’t even tell people what to expect for this – I don’t have much of an idea what I’m doing for these tracks, but they did catch my ear.

So, expect some Wild Arms remixes from me, at some point in the future. From what I’ve heard about how long it takes these projects to get going, let’s assume it’s quite awhile in the future – but sometime. Woohoo!

You’re participating in a remix project? I’m shocked.
